Hasselblad's new mirrrorless medium format camera

The DPReview article mentions something about the color actually being 14bit - We suspect the X1D uses the same sensor in the Pentax 645Z, meaning 14-bit analog-to-digital conversion, despite claims of '16-bit color'

Kind of rains on the parade if true.
It's 16 bit. Already spoke to my hasse rep. It's the same sensor in the h6d-50c.

- It's just a bit bigger and heavier than the a7RII.
- It has nearly no buttons. As a MF camera, its customers are supposed to be patient shooters who take their time to take a pic. But really watching both backs side by side makes me wonder how the hell you're supposed to change any settings (no, I don't like touchscreens). There was talk about it looking like a Blackmagic a few posts ago, and I agree (though for me it's more like an oversized pocket).

Well, that can mean it skips three out of every four rows and columns. Or maybe it reads more than that and downsamples the Bayer pattern before the demosaic and H.264 compression.
You got me excited there for a moment XD
