Has this amazing video been accelerated

1:28 i'm distracted by "Conan O'brien" on drums.

not sure what equipment was used in the making of the video, but it looks like a higher shutter speed for the band playing, not accellerated, and the shaking stuff can be done in After Effects, and i'm sure other programs as well.

I've seen sometimes to get this effect they record at around 1/500 60FPS and have the band play double speed, then slow it down to real time

Well, usually it's more like they shoot it at twice the frame rate, or 48 fps, then have the band play double time. That way when they slow it down to 48 fps their movements still match up with a song that is played normally.

You can also go the reverse, have them play slowly and shoot it at 22 or 20 fps. You have to do a bit of math to figure out what speed they should play the song, but that couple with a cut shutter could give you a pretty "edgy" look. I think they definitely shot it at around 20 fps for this one.

Some of the shakiness might of been done in post, but I don't think they did that for this one. It looks like they've unseated the lens and they're just pulling it in and out. You can tell that this is what they're doing because it gives you those violent shakes first of all, and second of all, every time they do it the image goes a bit soft.

well given that most prosumer and DSLR cameras dont have frame rates outside 24/30/60 its usually done in 60 and slowed appropriately, I've done it myself works quite well.

Yeah, it definitely can work at 60fps, but yeah, of course you just have to have them play at the appropriate speed.

All I was getting at was how fast you had them play and what speed you shot it at is an important thing to look after. It's gotta be right on the money or else you're going to end up with an off sync video.

true, I know, normally going for 60 and just half timing it wont get you on sync, its a simple math calculation but its about between 40-50%
