Has the rebate been extended?

I just dug thru every page on the Panny website about the DVX100a rebate, and all it says is "limited time" with no actual mention of a date? Is it going to expire on April 30th, or are they extending it? IF they are NOT extending it, any price change on the horizon?
 
Wow, that is interesting...I just pulled up the online rebate thingy, and you're right. There is no longer the Feb 1 - Apr 30 date on there. Just "limited time only".

I was planning on purchasing my DVX this week and saw Profeel had a good deal, unfortunately, the shop is closed until May 2nd. So I was bummed I couldn't get the rebate. Maybe I'll call panasonic and see what the deal is with the DVX rebate.

B&H Photo Video is closed until that time too. Weird .
 
B&H is closed in celebration of a Jewish holiday...not sure which but in New York many schools and stores are closed for a week.
 
Ramzi may have miscommunicated, we have no conclusive evidence that the rebate has been extended. Has Jan said anything?

If I place a firm order today (4/30) for a DVX100A (from an authorized dealer of course) but won't have serial # until I receive it next week, will it still qualify for the rebate, or do you have to file by today for the rebate in order to claim it?

I asked Jan about the rebate, and the response was basically "I have extended it". No end date was listed. I'm sure more info is forthcoming.
 
Does anyone know if I could get the rebate if I bought a DVX100a here in New Zealand? I'm thinking of doing that pretty soon.

The rebate deal is for US buyers of US models. Every country has its own marketing division and can come up with their own marketing promotions. The US division has chosen to offer a rebate to its customers.

I don't know what incentives or options the New Zealand division is offering.
