Hardly what I'd call cheap, unless you already have a massive RC helicopter I guess.

Flying an RC chopper or other vehicle takes a really really long time to learn how to do it.. and there's the expensive part which is crashing. Your best bet is to get an RC simulator and crash the game for a couple of months and then if still interested, pick something else up....

I would rather use duct tape than spend a $1k for a bird cage for a camera. Its way to over priced and you don't even get a RC helicopter.
