I'm in the depths of indecision regarding steadicams. There's the Glidecam HD2000 at the top end of my budget, and many others vying for me to take a chance on them at only a fraction of the cost. Top of the pile of 'fake' Glidecams are the Hague range:

I'm using a Canon 7D so I'm looking at either the HCS Hague Camcorder Stabilizer or the HDMC Hague HD Motion-Cam. Even the HDMC Motion Cam is about 40% cheaper than a GC, but by the looks of it they recommend the HCS for DSLR use, which would half the cost of stabilization for me.
I've read/seen some reviews on the mini-motion cam from Hague, but has anybody tried these more heavy duty options - or better yet, had a chance to compare them with the Glidecam?
