Ok so i was wondering if anyone had tried the magiqcam systems? and if so what they thought about them cause they are a hell of a lot cheaper than the other steadycam vest options. http://www.magiqcam.com/

Looks to me more on par with Glidecam than a real Steadicam. Looks a bit "rougher" than the real deal.
Just my .02 from gazing at their website, I have never used one so it's difficult to give ny real assesment.

I used one for a day, seemed nice but not a Steadicam. Tricky to balance the camera, no easy way, you have to loosen the screws and move the camera plate, it's easy to get mad while balancing, that is if you've used a real Steadicam. But for the price, I guess it's a fair deal.
