Has anyone tried using IBIS or Lens Stabilization with a camera stabilizer?

I was wondering if anyone has tried shooting with both in-body sensor stabilization (such as Olympus' 5-Axis) and a small camera stabilizer (such as a Merlin or Glidecam). Is there any advantage to doing so? Or do IBIS and lens stabilization technology not work well when the camera is flying on a physical stabilizer? Thanks.

I guess it should be helpful for a not-perfectly-calibrated or PID-optimized electronic gimbal (Came Single, I'm looking at you)
