Has anyone taken the Gale Tattersal HD DSLR workshops?

A couple co-workers are going to be doing it starting this Sunday and I was considering doing it as well. It's $1200 which is a bit pricey, but it's 3 full Sundays. I guess he's the guy that shot House on the 5D mk2. I haven't seen the episode yet.

Pretty sure the entirety of the current season has been shot with dslrs....it certainly looks like they have to me.....

He's prolly most famous for being the DP for "House." My understanding is that he was an early adapter of the MarkII and fell in love with it. "House" famously used a MarkII for an ep last season, and I've read that they still use it at times for this season.

I think I'm going to go ahead and take it. It's 3 Sundays, 10 hours each and breakfast, lunch, and all equipment is included.

I guess I was hoping someone who had taken it would be on the forums.

$1200? might aswell buy a dslr with that kind of money.

I already have one and a bunch of other equipment. $1200 won't buy me a lens that will improve the quality of what I shoot more than 30 hours of education from someone who is an award winning DP.

Agreed - certainly wouldn't be a waste of money. "House" BTW is said to be the most viewed episodic TV show on earth.

Nice work if you can get it!

Enjoy the workshop! Please post that review when its all said and done. You sound like a pretty objective voice and It'd be super interesting to hear about your experience. I wonder what the differences are between philip bloom vs. shane hurlbut vs. gale tattersall etc.??
