Has anyone been able to achieve good slow motion in Final Cut Express?

Hello All,

I have shot some snowboard footage at 720/60p(120 shutter) and am hoping to get some good slow motion in FCE. I am using toast 9 to convert to AIC (current framerate) prior to importing into FCE. Is there a method for changing the framerate in FCE? OR is actually changing the speed of the clip the only option?

Is there an option that should be selected in 'easy setup' to accomplish quality slow motion with 720/60p( 120 shutter) footage?

Thanks to all

It may not be the best answer, but what I have done in the past is open the file in in cinema tools and convert to 23.97 fps. Then add to a timeline in FCP that has been set to 23.97. It seems to work fairly well. Someone may have a better idea

Uh I'm pretty sure that's the best way to do it. Unfortunately cinema tools does not come with fce
