Happy with new Vegas Scheme

They even have a MAC style menu bar; you know the kind that you hover over and it grows large? I tried it for about 5 seconds and then wondered why MAC users want that?

Dude . . . I don't know. It's like operating a frickin' cartoon.

Haha TBob. It does make it 'cooler' to chill with.

Seriosu; not even a MAC/PC thing. I DL'd it and thought 'Cool. This should be fun' and literally 5 minutes later I 86'd it from the hardrive. It was just in the way.

Understood. But look! I bought a Mac! And I can still run Vegas!

There are some issues with WindowBlinds and a dual-monitor setup, I note. It doesn’t tend to respect the restriction against windows spanning screens so well . . .

I have had some stability issues, but it might just be my machine. its an HP piece of crap bought at Sams club kind of thing.

At home I was okay on my homebuilt system.

I tried it for a few hours. It seemed fine until I came back a few hours later and then it started acting all buggy. It doesn't like being woken up from the screensaver. And I did notice the two monitor issue. It really is running like Windows.

So I uninstalled it.

I toyed with it for six hours or so (totally no life). After working and tweaking I found a whole tone of bugs so I'm gonna deep six it too. It's a shame because I'm really liking some of the looks it has. Too bad more apps don't allow for interface tweaking like audition:(

Yummy...Took it off the system and the finnicky little beeeaaatch became unstable setting my hair on fire with error this and error that, Damn that makes me want to go and buy one of those other computers! To be fair though, this system is only a month or so old and it usually takes me 3 or four months to get it bulletproof.

I am running it at work, with a dual-monitor setup. Haven't had any issues yet. The screens span the multi-monitor desktop fine and it wakes up from the screen saver fine. I am running XP SP2 on a fairly new Dell P4 machine with 512MB

I was running it on 2000 which may have been an issue. Stupid things like menus loosing buttons on mouseover. Mind you most of my software is getting dated can't really blame windowblinds for my headaches.

I still like how cool it makes my desktop look. Maybe I'll keep it around and only run it when somebody comes over and can see my computer.

:)

Yeah, I'm thinking the same. Maybe I'll put it on my laptop so if I'm working in a coffeehouse or something, people will be impressed . . . :cheesy:
