It can happen ANY age though bro.

True - though I do know when I was your age I felt alot more invincible than I do now.
But I guess thats just part of growing up.

When my friends are all drunk and stuff, and there ready to hotbox their van, i just get out and wait on the curb lol. Rain or shine, i aint TOUCHING that shi*

Good to hear....well, except for the part about your drunk friends getting in their van.

I thought this Halloween would be lousy. I usually have a horror movie fest every year. This year there didn't seem to by any friends left in town to come. I was invited to another friend's party at his apartment. I went, not expecting much to happen. After a while, I got kind of comfortable and started talking more after the party picked up. When I said friends, I mean, I talk to them sometimes, but I've never really hung out with them, so this was the first time. They're a really easy group to talk to. They had these huge pumpkins they bought that night, but hadn't done anything with. I made a remark about having not carved a pumpkin since I was a kid, so on the spur of the moment, we carved jack-o-lanterns. I carved a confused face, with "WTF" and "LOL" carved into one side, and "OMG" into the other. I ended up staying there until 5:30 in the morning, laughing, joking, telling ghost stories, talking about dreams and irregular sleep habits. I also did many "that's what she said last night jokes". I was afraid it would be awkward, but I really had no problem talking with anyone or doing anything. Usually I'd be a wallflower, but last night was different. Turns out it was one of the best Halloweens ever.

Happy Halloween thread took a different turn eh? My Halloween was actually really different this year. I had work this morning and my friends convinced me to go to a club and I decided that it couldn't hurt...what irony in that statement.

I had a beer, but nothing more as I was driving. The club was packed and as you can imagine, there were a lot of costumes and people thinking they were invincible. A guy kept looking over at me and I couldn't see who he was because of his mask, but I thought it was weird and when you're admist a bunch of drunk people and you're sober, you become paranoid (at least I do).

Anyway, the guy came up to me when I was going outside to get some air and grabbed me by my shirt and started pushing me around saying that I was looking at him and asked if I had a staring problem, blah blah blah. He was pretty wasted himself and took a swing, cracking me square in the jaw. Needless to say, being the sober one and the punch actually hurting, I knocked him around for a bit until the bouncers saw what was happening in the parking lot. My friends at this point saw what happened and I told them we had to go.

It was a good thing we did too, because the guy that picked a fight with me had a lot more friends than I had with me at the time. So lesson learned, sometimes it is good to be a sober one and bad things can happen anywhere, anytime. It's inevitable, but situations that can be avoided always should be. There are never any heroes when someone winds up dead because of a stupid drunken or inebriated decision.

As someone Como's age, I feel it is my duty to represent the alternative view of teenagers (even if it isn't the majority).

Regardless of the health hazards of drinking and whatnot, I choose not to because I despise the, "Hey, look at me! I'm a rebellious, care-free teen who is more mature than you because I have an alcoholic beverage that doesn't even taste good to me in my hand," look. I'm not saying that's you, but it definitely is a large number.

I'll drink when I'm older though. I like wine...

Oh, and Halloween. A bunch of us went over to a friend's house and watched Doom (2005) with the Rock. It's one of my favorite "awesomely bad" films and we've watched it biannually ever since its release.

Good day.

Man, i like the taste...lol...Wine, omg instant puke. Vodka, instant puke. I ONLY drink beer, and its maybe once a week. And i might have like 6 or 7. I just chill with it.
And i know im wrong, i shouldn't be doing it, and everyone on here is right. It's my choise, and it's probably not a very good one.. lol.. I have heard that DVXuser has people on it, and they want to meet up with some users to see there work, and for that you have to speak nice and type well. Which I think I have improved on. Now, i think i lost my opportuniy if i even had one, for the drinkng issue, stupid me.

I never drank in high school, and I don't drink now either. My family has a history of alcoholism. I just don't see the appeal. But anyway...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!! Only two more months left in 2007. What happened? Not to be cliche, but... Time really flies.

You don't have to do anything. Filmmaking is a business also and if you want to be professional about it, you should constantly be presenting yourself as one.

Also, remember I didn't say that you were one of the people who drinks for show. I just said that many do.
