Hi guys I recently found a new job and in this place my boss want to shoot some vídeos of musicians, the budget is very low but we do have lighting and a studio, but they don´t want to spend lots of money in professional cameras.

We do have a GH1 and need a handy can to go with. What do you suggest?

Got a few questions:

- Do you need high defitition video?
- Are you recording the audio with the handycam? Or are you just going to overdub the audio, so audio on the cameras are not important? (XLR or no XLR plugs)
- What's your budget?
- Is used equipment okay?
- Can it be something sort of large and "prosumer" like a DVX100 or does it have to be really small?

Coke can will work good with GH1........even better if its coke zero because the black color watches with GH1 :p

I just googled Handy can and would you know what URL came up first!!

This thread may be the most informative

in awhile :)

For sure it made me laugh and that's something these days!

I'm using a panasonic TM700 along with the GH1.

Here's a quick video of the two being used for a band. (this is a super quick edit, just threw up for the band to look at, don't judge me).

GH1 closeup, TM700 wide. The TM700 was on a tripod that was strapped to a railing, and I think it may have introduced some vibration causing the image to be a little soft.
