Hey,

I created a chart to assist in testing various settings out on the DVX. It's pretty self-explanatory. Using a slate with the shot # before each take helps.

Yeah... It really helps when you're spending hours and tweaking all sorts of settings in order to find that "perfect" look for your project.

I used the sheet today with success.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a section for production aids like this and focus charts, etc. A month from now, no one will even know to search for this...just a thought.
 
Yeah. Search is often tough because you just don't know which terms to search under. And I guess they can't have too many sections; just too tough to manage.

I'm glad the chart helped you out. It really is helpful. I'm sure, like myself, many people go out and shoot test footage, but when it comes time to analyze the material, they forget the settings. I'll look into renaming the title to make it more search friendly.
 
This is great for me. I'm a new DVX user and have been actually "speaking" my settings into the mic as I shoot test footage. Since I hate hearing my own voice, this will come in very handy. Thanks.
