I bought my EX1r in about June 2010 and while i was out shooting handheld at the weekend i was moving the handgrip quite a lot to get different angled shots etc. (Not aggressively in any way)
On several occasions, at the 5-6 points where the grip should click into place it just wasn't locking and the release button just rattled about.
The only way to get the handgrip to snap into position was to lightly tap it on the side until it snapped back in.
This was really frustrating whilst trying to shoot on the go and its particularly annoying when the camera is less than 4 months old.
Has anybody else had this problem and if so is there any remedy...? Will i need to send it to Sony?
