F35: hand grip for the F35 - help me with this please

Yes, pretty standard rosette by Vocas. I love specific designs, but i figured the secondary handle could be more versatile than just an ergo grip for specific shoulder mount work. I am enjoying the design so far.

Do you have an image of the Eclair handle?
 
Anyone had success with a remote run/stop recorder cable?
I am probably going to end up with a LANC cable to my AJA ki pro mini recorder.

At this point, the F35 is a hobby camera. So, $150 cables are out of the question. Perhaps if i get a long form gig that justifies it. Was hoping to spend more in the $30-$110 range.

I am more curious what methods you guys are using to start/stop recording, and how are you confirming you are still recording when handheld?

I’ll see if i can fix my “camera shutdown/fan max” issue. Maybe then i can trigger the AJA from the camera body. The F35 rec/run is already conveniently located.

That is superb looking. That underslung grip seems right when the elbow is tucked into the torso.
