Here's what began as a simple project turned into a disaster. The idea was to make a screensaver of a burning jackolantern. The result was a .... big fire.

;D LOL! I mean... I don't think it was funny then... but this grabs are hysterical. How did you controlled the fire? I like the warm look of the night... fits well for halloween theme.

Dude! what is that thing flying with flames? :o

the fire department put the blaze out.
the warm look is how it looked on camera, i think i had the 5600k white balance setting. the only light out there was the fire.
The flying thing is a gas can full of gas. that dude poured too much on the pumpkin and the fire started coming up the gas toward him. so he got scared and whipped it up in the air. dumbass should have just dropped it.

Where you trying to make a movie of something? is there more footage or a video that you can put toguether to show us?

That's why the city hall wants a copy of your insurance certificate before they give you a location permit ;D

Did the can explode? Thats a great grab - you can see the fire following right up to the can.

Did the fire department say anything to you for even being there and taping it?

the can did explode and the circle of fire resulting was about 30 feet in diameter if i had to guess, when the dept. arrived i was long gone, but them dumbasses were still there. the fire was visible from the interstate.

Holy crap dude, that is the closest of a snuff post in DVXUser.com I guess it's getting rough over here. I just hope nobody steals my wallet...

ok those grabs (especially the 3rd one) are HILARIOUS. you should really consider posting the actual footage to that incident....unless the footage is considered evidence. :-X
