Hey All--

So brilliant me i had OIS off during some handheld shots that i did the other day, and all the footage that is zoomed in is jiggly like i can't believe. Any ways to fix this in post without going through after effects? I have about 50 shots i need to correct and I don't want to track all of them ;p

Without After Effects? Good luck man. Actually now that I think about it, I have a stabilizing plug in for FCP. When I get home later I'll check to see who makes it and will let you know.

I mean I can use AE, that's no problem. I just was kind of hoping for a post OIS option that I didn't know about.

No such thing. This is strictly a "fix it in post" problem. There are plugs-in avail. Some are better than others. My Avid has one, FCP as stated above has one, AE or Combustion would be another good choice. Google works too, I have looked at others in the past. It really depends on how bad your footage is and what you are willing to spend to fix it.

Alrighty. I'll try the FCP options I guess and see how they do! Then if not it's time for coffee and a lot of tracking points. Wee.
