Hacking the Sony Nex-3

Is it possible to hack the Sony Nex-3 like people do/did with the Panasonic GF1 and GH1?

Is it possible to hack the Sony Nex-3 to add 1080p video recording like people did with their Panasonic GF1's?
 
I'd love to see a hack for the NEX. All kinds of weirdness in the firmware - a 25% crop in movie mode, interlaced, moire, no 25p despite the sensor being capable of it.

The sensor is better than the 60D and GH2 in terms of high ISO, it is very fine indeed.

So how would we do this, get some firmware genius to create a hack for it? Seems like a pretty big leap, but maybe's there's someone here on the forums who's capable of it. Is there? I mean, I know creating a firmware hack for the Nex-3 and Nex-5 is possible. It's just that no one's really delved into it yet.
