Interesting thing about cyber warfare is how much unexpected damage it could do to a country.
Releasing leaks and spoilers to major movies and TV shows, and bribing companies to protect their profits with this, could cost the companies millions in expenses. Which are written off as a loss. Which is less tax money paid into the economy, which weakens the government's income.
Take it a step further: cyber warfare releasing Apple trade secrets to competitors in China who beat them to the bunch, steal technology, spoil launches, etc. Hurts Apple dramatically. Thus hurts USA, as competing countries reap the profits.
Globalization and high tech cyber warfare - crazy implications!
But yeah, I don't know any fans of any show who seek out spoilers. I literally won't go on FB/Insta or talk to other humans if I am worried about a show being spoiled, let alone google about a leak.
