[FS: General] Hacked Panasonic GH1 and GF1 bodies + LX3 & accessories

Hi, I know it is a bit awkward to have a sale as the first post, but I am a long term lurker here, just have little to say since I am more into still photography. If you need references, you can check with Gary (gmoe) who posts here regulary, or my ebay rating under the same name. I am getting a GH2, so I have the following for sale:

Black GH1 body only, gently used, comes with original accessories (charger, battery, neck strap, body cap, manual, box; not sure I still have the outdated software CD but I will look again for it...). Gary was nice enough to hack it for me, it runs nice and stable. Camera is in excellent condition, two minimal 'issues': a scratch on the soft rubbery material of the grip and a little rubbing on the rubber of the viewfinder. Cannot see anything else, technically it is, of course, in perfect condition. Price is $720 incl insured shipping in the US & Paypal fees.


Black hacked GF1, body only, also hacked by Gary. In excellent shape, I don't see any issues with the camera. Also comes with all accessories. Price is $375 shipped for this one.


I am also selling my Panasonic LX3, black, in excellent condition. A great compact camera with excellent IQ. I just found I have hardly used it since I went into the micro4/3 cameras, and I am slimming down my collection. Comes with all original accessories except manual (available online). Additional accessories inclue tan leather case, second battery, Lensmate hood that holds the also included Hoya 46mm UV filter. $320 shipped in the US.

Finally, I am also getting ready to sell some of my c-mount lenses. Not sure what the interest is here, please ask if you have questions.

Stefan is very reliable and is known more on the getdpi forum under the same handle that he uses here. Bought many lenses from him when the m4/3 craze was at its height. I helped Stefan hack his GF1 and GH1 to the lpowell 40Mbps reliable setting and tested it fully and both cameras work very well.

Thanks Gary. Here are just a few quick snapshots (sorry for the quality mof some of them):

GH1 plus accessories. In addition to what I listed before, the camera comes with one additional original Panasonic battery plus one generic travel charger that saves you dealing with the annoying cable of the original. However, the Gordy wrist strap on the picture is NOT part of the deal, I'll keep that...

Looks like some of us GH13 owners are getting nervous with the GH2 ante portas... ;) O.k., new prices:

- hacked GH13 as described above with two original batteries and two chargers: $650 shipped in the US
- hacked GF13 as described above: $360 shipped in the US
- LX3 set as described above: $295

Just a quick bump and an update:

GH13 is sold

GF13 is still available. This is the GH1's little brother, hacked with the lpowell settings, full manual control for video - for the times when you want that small camera with good video with you without shlepping all that gear... $350 shipped in the US but I can not ship this before 11/18.

LX3 complete set also still available as long as nobody has bid on it on ebay. Camera looks almost like new, has seen very little use and is still one of the best compacts out there. Price on ebay $289+S&H, here it is $290 shipped in the US.

Are you still trying to sell your gh1? I am looking for one, and since only older models are hackable, this would ne awesome. I'm a filmmaker on a budget and this would be huge for me.!!! Let me know definitely if it is for sale or not. Ready to buy whenever.

Is the hack process the same for the GF as it is the GH? I could use a GF1 possibly if it'll shoot the same quality or close to the GH's 44k
