Having bought a gh1 and been informed the camera is the hacked gh13 version ..how do I know the camera is actually hacked.. ? Any simple way for me to check ?
I can't remember exactly how to get it, but you can check the firmware number and it should read something like 1.0 firmware, vs 1.3. Also if you have stream parser you can check the bitrate and if it's native 24p vs 60i wrapper. Easiest is if in windows when you click on the video file it says 23fps that means it's 24fps and that means it's hacked.
