So its been a few years and the GH1 is still circulating as a solid video production device, and, as I have never purchased a modifiable GH1 myself, I was curious as to the state of the GH1 market since I am interested in acquiring one.
A few queries:
1. Have any 'known' issues developed with the usage of PTools, other than its marvelous benefits of course, that would require caution in the purchase of a new or used GH1 body?
***2. Are there any common scams or hangups associated with the hackable GH1 bodies for purchase? What I'm hinting at is the fact that a hackable body fetches a better price on ebay so its only logical that there are some con men out there trying to pull a fast one on someone like me.
3. What are some recommended accessories, other than the obvious ones like a tripod, that should accompany a hacked GH1 for film production?
4. I'm working from a mac, will I have to have access to a PC should I decide to use PTools?
5. Can someone point me to a page describing the 'meat and potatoes' settings for Ptools? I'm a little lost here.
