Hack project status update

As you know, we opened GH1 databases, and soon we open all the rest.
I'll also soon be adding much more developer related info to wiki.

I am also searching for people who'll be able to move all necessary information from Hack and Development subforums to wiki. As I do not have enought time.

Soon, we'll be moving development and most serious hack discussions to new place.
Right now I am working on this spending all my free time.

As you may know, we have all old donations stuck at old account due to problems with holder,
New account is up and running.
Unfortunately as money on scripts are not available, I am working on open source solutions (plus we got one license as donation from script author).
And this means that we need to make scripts changes, design, CSS editing, etc.

Some of this things require specialized tools. Normally free solutions are ok, but some cheap commercial ones are much betetr and save significant time.

Donation to our small tool completed. Thanks to all.


As I said, I'll post some info about GH2 hack status in about week time.

I skipped lunch today and you now are $20 closer to the goal. I can't wait for the GH2 hack! Thank you for all of your hard work. I wish I could buy stock in Vitaliy LLC.
 
Yeah, we have $56 donated, minus about $1 fees per donation.
So, $6-7 will make it will small gap.

Hey Vitaliy

I matched the donation and doubled it. So now you should have $56 + $112 = $168.

I don't even own a GH1 or GH2. Maybe a GH2 once someone figures out 3D sync.

But the main point is that you're just doing awesome work. Go for it, man!

opened under face control. and all who can or want will not get, even who was accss to previous versions (some peoples was thrown from list already in personal relations flavour, not technical ...), and have sent back collected info to VK ...
opened = everyone can download and use ... anyone can try - will be provided DB or not to you - you will not knew - so lies about DB are open ... it's shared encrypted - and need special key, which not shared to everyone ...
such business there ...

We'll use your money either on scripts (if next week we'll not get money from old account) or add to our programmer collection (but we need to make few preparation steps first).

As I know David Cole plans to play with 3D on GH2. He'll also make special page on wiki about 3D on GH cameras and how to do it right and possible problems.

If you said you needed the money for alcohol because it helps you think that would be ok with me. Anything that helps you get the job done is ok in my book.

I don't drink alcohol :-)
And all money are monitored and go to very specific things, period.
This is why I provide exact sum.
 
Vitaliy. Sorry I haven't been keeping up with the hack updates as much. A month ago didn't you say the GH2 was really, really hard to hack? Did you guys crack it now? If so, Wow... that was fast.
