GH2 Hack of choice?

Hey all,

It's been a long time since i've bothered following the threads at personal-view regarding hack progression for the GH2. I've been using Quantam V4b for the longest time which is a GOP1, i get roughly 13 minutes on a 16 gig card, the footage is incredible but I'm wondering what progress has been made.

For those of you who've kept up to date, would you mind sharing your knowledge? What GOP1 hacks are you using? What is the general hack of choice right now? Also looking for a 24L mode with great quality but longer recording times.

I love flowmotion 2.02, Im pretty sure it's the latest flow motion patch, it's stable, variable bit rate mode is great, helps with storage too.
 
I went from flow-motion to Moon...trial 5 is looking very nice, stable, about 27 minutes on a 32GB card.
 
Went from FloMo to Drewnet Trial 8 and, as they say, haven't look back. Only downside is about 25 min. on 32 GB card. Would be interested, in the spirit of the question, whether anyone viewing here has compared Moon with Drewnet.
 
are these GOP1? Looking for the best I-Frame hacks as they really produce, in my opinion, the best looking stuff, especially as far as motion is concerned.

So from what I can see, is Orion V4b still the "go to" hack for I-frame GOP1?
 
Moon is Driftwood's latest and greatest I-frame. Not sure about GOP...aren't they either I frame OR GOP? Or maybe that is what GOP - 1 means?
 
Can anyone show the advantages of drewnet trial 8 over flowmotion? Curious if it would yield better 60p 720 footage over flowmo2.02.

I believe they are the same thing.

I wonder what the difference is between Moon and V4b. Will investigate.

Looks like moon has better motion in the 60P 720 motion. Bitrate are almost the same. Would be curious to compare the two.
