This is something I've been doing for a while and I thought I'd share it. I noticed that the frame rate setting in the menu is a scene file setting. I was really tired of going into the scene file menu every time I wanted to overcrank so...I saved a scene file, F6, with the frame rate set to 60, and then on the scene file next to it, F5, set the frame rate to 24 and saved that. I optimized all the settings for the look I prefer and minimal noise, and then matched those settings on both the scene files.
Obviously you want to keep your settings straight or you'll end up with slightly mismatched footage. The one thing I do mess with a lot is the color temperature setting, so on occasion some of my footage is warmer/cooler than the other because I haven't kept track well enough. Never really came back to bite me though since I don't push that setting super farther than + or - 4ish.
Pretty obvious I know, but it seemed worth a post.
