Hack being worked on for newer "unhackable" GH1 cameras?

Is there a hack being worked on for the newer "unhackable" GH1 cameras?

I thought Panasonic never released the firmware to prevent people from hacking the GH1.

If so, what are the details?

It's an ongoing process...with the original GH1(13) hack, there were multiple versions. I posted in your other thread about the GH1 without hack.....it's a GREAT camera. If you need evidence of how good it is, search on Vimeo for GH1 footage by Phillip Bloom and others or go to Phillip Bloom's website. Vitaly (the man behind the hack) says the new locked GH1s are better than the old ones. As long as you don't go pushing the ISO really high and keep motion shots with high detail to a minimum..it's an awesome camera. If you need a low cost solution for nice shallow dof work that really looks great on close ups, it's still an incredible camera. Probably the best value on the market today. For the money...you will not be disappointed.
