Ha... look at this.

"This camera is made to scale, out of cardboard and hot glue. It may actually work, I haven't gotten around to making a tape though so I can't say for certain"

He has 1 bid.......but his reserve hasn't been met yet. Maybe if he'd gotten around to making a tape so he could prove it worked, he'd get more bids. Man....it must have been really hard to make all the electronics and optics out of cardboard, he should be posting in the DIY forum.

upgrade?

upgrade?

This must be the guy that bought my cardboard HVX...no wonder his cardboard DVX is on the block. Wait til he finds out how much cardboard P2 cards cost!

shipping

shipping

can you believe he wants to charge $10 for shipping? If I won the auction, I'd just put card stock in my printer and ask him to fax it.

Hey, who outbid me? I'd already upped the bid by 25%...must be some richie-rich dude.

if the dvx is made of cardboard, maybe the box it comes in is made of titanium.....

that explains the $10 shipping.

But is it art?

But is it art?

Just from the pics it looks like it might be somebody's art project and they chose the DVX as the inspiration and "sculpting" in cardboard as the medium.

Interesting nonetheless.

sincerely,
