H4 + Dn101 is this possiblle

I got my self set up with two Panny Gh1s and recording audio to the Zoom H4 and have been looking in to getting a beachtek dslr model or the new juicedlink dslr model with the dn101 built in but I first was wondering if any body Know if I took a feed from the line out on my h4 and then ran it in to the modified Dn101 to run on it own battery pack and not one of juicedlink preamps would this work to eliminate the Agc issue or the the the dn101 only work with the juicedlink preamps.

so basically zoom h4 line out to a modified dn101 then to my gh1.

I really love to my h4 and know it is cleaner audio than the camera but would like a better option for direct audio to the camera.

I was having a similar thought, but about using it with my non juicedlink xlr adapter. Can anyone shed some light on the topic?
 
Well if no one has tried this is there any one out there that knows if there is a device like the DN101 that works with other Xlr Adapters.
