These are my settings:

Prevent version compare=Checked
Video Bitrate FHD/SH=32000000
Video Bitrate H=16000000
Overall Bitrate=34000000

When I shoot SH and H mode with a shutter speed of 1/60th sec or faster, I get 60 unique frames in both modes. I thought this was only supposed to be the case for SH. I have not yet reverted back to default firmware to see if this was always like this.

Anyone else notice this?

EDIT: just noticed on page 106 of the English GH1 manual that all 720 AVCHD modes are have a sensor and record mode of 60P - thats exciting news for me. Was having trouble with write errors in SH mode with higher FHD/SH bitrate settings... will just set H and possibly L mode at bitrates that are stable... which begs the question - What is the best setting that is reliable for 720 60p with a Transcend 16GB class 10 card?

that was the whole point of being able to set bitrates for H and L so you can revert to stable settings if needed..lol. stable settings are ones lower than your SH/FHD, A and B settings are a good start.
