h.264 in vegas

[WalterRafaelGarcia]

i noticed on vegas, in rendering that i can press custom on quicktime 7 and a bunch of codecs pop up like h.263, mpeg4, 3gg and others but i'd like to know if there's any way to put h.264 in there.

I purchased Quicktime 7 pro and can export h.264 now but i hate having to render avi. out of vegas then having to open it on quicktime to export h.264. Is there anyway to export h.264 straight out of vegas?

Also besides the vegas issue, what is the best settings to use for youtube or myspace or any web hosting site using quicktime 7 pro's h.264?

Many tell me to use quicktime movie then change it to 30 frames per second, for every 15 frames limited to 2,000

Others tell me to use Mpeg4 out of quicktime 7 pro

any help on both issue? (h.264 out of vegas) and (best settings off of h.264 in quicktime 7 pro for web)

Render using the MainConcept AVC codec under .MP4. It's the same thing.

AVC/MPEG-4/H.264 are all brands of the same cola. (And so, by the way, is Windows Media 9.)
