H.264 for Final Cut

Hello!

I'm exporting quicktime movie files with H.264 compression in Premiere right now, and I just wanted to make sure that those files will open and not need to be rendered in Final Cut Pro?

Unfortunately I don't have FCP on my computer at home and I'll be needing to use these files at work on Monday for a screening but if they'll need hours of rendering just to be screened in realtime then I'll be screwed. Should I make these movie files with a different compression?

Thanks!

H.264 is a distribution format, not an editing one. And FCP won't like it very much. At the very least, you'll need to export a full DV-rez QuickTime .mov to be able to open it quickly in FCP.
