Gwendolyn Dangerous and the Great Space Rescue

Great work! Very funny. I would love to see what you could pull off with more time. The soundtrack was also very good. Do you have any behind the scene photos? I would love to see how big your green screen set was. What program did you use to make the bacgrounds and animation? How did the EX1 do with keying? Any special settings?

Thanks filmaddict--

Behind the scenes photos: someone gave me them, but I haven't even sorted through them yet. I'll post them when they're up. Our greenscreen "set" was a 9' roll of seamless paper, occasionally with some other bits thrown to the sides to try to squeeze a wide-shot out. All the 3d was done in Maya by my brother who is actually more of a video game guy. The EX1 keyed fine, but b/c of the time constraint we composited everything in standard def. After Effects would've taken too long to render if we were doing HD compositions. So we shot 720, and finished 480. With that extra leeway the camera performed fine in the keying. Our sloppily-thrown-together-poorly-lit-and-too-small greenscreen however definitely gave us some compositing headaches, which you can notice all over the wide shots.
