Thanks for the link Bob. I had a little bit of fun with it. BTW did you ever get to see the footage posted here. I know you were having problems with it before.

No, I have not seen it. While I could use upgrade the software on my system, I don't do that sort of thing during the school semester, because one screw-up and my system is down for a while. I can't afford the number of hours to re-load all the software I use. During the semester, I put in 60+ hour weeks, most of it creating materials for class on the computer. During summer and winter breaks, I can kick back and do all the other things I wanted to do...

It's too bad I have to work on Saturdays right now, because I'd like to tag along with you to help shoot stuff using a video camera and a gun. :) I have a 357 magnum and I'm sure we could get some great shots with that.

That is an impressive carbine. Do you like it? Recommend? How's the ammo? Is it possible to lock the stock in the bent position making it unusable? I will put it in a gun safe, but also need to have it locked out.

I was looking into the Storm, but also have been really impressed with a 200 dollar cheapy.. the name escapes me, but I have a few friends who have the rifle.

Thanks

Justyn, the rifle is a SU-16A and the company is called Kel-Tec that makes it. Here's a link to their site.

http://www.kel-tec.com/index.htm

I haven't had a chance to really fire a lot of rifles but I can tell you from going out shooting with this one that I love it. The scope that I put on it is a little cheapy scope that cost only $44. But I can easly hit stuff out past 200 yards. It does fold in half and when its folded its unusable. The A model runs about a little over $530 and the ammo for it is cheap as well.

The #1 reason for having a gun is to shoot the #### out of stuff!!!
I dunno, it got the Vice President in trouble. He should have used the AT4073. It's more forgiving.

I checked them out before. They are only about 40 minutes away in cocoa. I'll do a recon mission and see what I can report. Maybe they have a shooting range on site.
I can then take the surfboard and pretend to know what I"m doing... Maybe combine it with a little skeet shooting.

so yeah.....guns.

um....in england you can get five years for carrying a knife over 3"

I'm pretty sure If the ARMED police (there aren't a lot) shoot anyone they instantly get suspended and investigated.

our soldiers use very sharp pencils.

I quite like it to be honest.

I reckon we'd get put away for about 20 years attempting to shoot a gun like that down here in Australia! :)

Great footage though...audio is really nice too.

I think the main point is;

nice footage,

we dont have any guns to film in AU or UK...

having said that, we dont have the HVX either.

Mavoz and Adam, sorry to hear that you guys don't have HVXs or guns in your countries. Hopefully soon you'll have the HVX problem sloved.

I'm glad that I live in the US. It may have its problems but at least I can go out into the woods and shoot guns if I want. Glad you guys liked the footage.

No guns in Australia? Surely that can't be true! :?

You guys really screwed up on your guns rights. A government that doesn't trust their citizens with guns can't be trusted.

Fight to get them back.

We still have a few guns..just more the pea shooter variety these days and you've got to have a good reason for the thing ..the ability to film some cool footage with your shiny new HVX 200 probably doesn't cut it...

(Some guy went nuts back in '96 at Port Arthur and murdered 35 people + many wounded....since then the powers that be weren't real keen on having citizens roaming the streets armed to the teeth like Rambo.....)

So us Aussies now get to live longer...tourists are safer....our politicians don't tend to shoot people....and we get to film Kangaroos and stuff in peace....come and visit us down here! (Just throw a few extra HVX's in your case while you're at it
