Guilty Pleasure films?

Re: Guilty Pleasure films?

I didn't realise that this was a guilty pleasure, but a while back I put on Excaliber for a friend of mine. At the end he was like " what the hell was that?!"

Re: Guilty Pleasure films?

I love that film.

Jack Colton's great lines:

Jack Colton: Goddamn it, I knew I should've listened to my mother. I could've been a cosmetic surgeon, five hundred thou a year, up to my neck in tits and ass.

Jack Colton: Wait a minute, he's after you. Who the hell are you?
Joan Wilder: Well, I'm a romance novelist.
Jack Colton: You're what? What are you doing here?
Joan Wilder: I told you, my sister's life depends on me.
Jack Colton: Ah, don't give me that ****. I thought you were donating a kidney or something.

Jack Colton: What did you do, wake up this morning and say, "Today, I'm going to ruin a man's life? "

Joan Wilder: These were Italian.
Jack Colton: Now they're practical.

Devito was classic in this. Fun film; one of the best 'modern' swashbuckling tales IMHO.

Re: Guilty Pleasure films?

Don't forget:

Dammit man, the Doobie Brothers broke up! ****! When did that happen?

One hell of a morning has turned into a ***** of a day

Re: Guilty Pleasure films?

What's next? Crossroads? Spice World? ;)

(Aw, damn . . . I kinda liked Spice World . . . :-[)

Re: Guilty Pleasure films?

Crossroads? Well the Joe Seneca/Ralph Macchio film of that name has a killer soundtrack and a great finale...if little else.

The Britney film I'm happily unfamiliar with

Re: Guilty Pleasure films?

I actually went with a gay buddy of mine (not that there's anything wrong with that) to see Spice Girls perform five years ago. I went through very strange emotions that made me uncomfortable, and yet, mildly excited.
