I think “Dave” is great. Just a thoroughly pleasant movie.

Yep, it's pretty consistent...most of these films mentioned are films I actually like on one level or another.
Maybe that should tell us something about "cheesy, corny or bad" movies. There's got to be something in the fact that these films are guilty pleasures for a LOT of people.

I hate the politics in American President, but I love the writing. I thought Dave was good as a fable.

Zoolander just made me laugh non-stop. I mean it was ludicrous. And I rarely laugh at movies that are supposed to be comedies. But every last minute of that flick was so ridiculous and funny....
