GH2 Guess what I got for my birthday?

I made a post recently that I'm about to shoot my first short film on a GH13. My girlfriend surprised me tonight with a GH2 too! So, I'm going to be spending more time than I thought I would on DVXuser trying to get caught up to speed. I got the 24H cinema mode thing going (they have more movie mode options in this thing than I realized...).

Any other thoughts or advice with mixing the footage or GH2 issues / tricks worth mentioning for a first timer that has to learn this thing in less than a week?

I hear there's a hack for it, but I've honestly been ignoring all GH2 threads due to not having one... Is the hack as stable currently as the GH13 is?

Again, I'm obviously going to read as much as I can on my own, but given the short time I have before throwing this thing onto a film set... Doesn't hurt to ask.
 
Not much to say except that if you are filming in a week's time, do not attempt the hack on the GH2. While there is progress being made, the last thing you want on the set is to have issues arising from the hack. Not worth the trouble right now and you don't really need it image wise.

Thank you, but your warning comes too late... I already hacked it.

I've barely used it with the hack, and I've used it less without. So far I'm getting more noise from my GH2 than what I ever saw with my GH13. It's my understanding that higher bitrate = better for color correction in post, so that's why I tried hacking my GH2... But I'm not sure about this noise, lol.

Back to doing more tests!
