Guess the next Panasonic m43 cam

based on these lenses, what would be the next m43 cameras assuming panny will release these lenses along with the body like before?

14mm 2.8, 8mm fisheye 3.5 and 100-300mm 4.0-5.6
damn these lenses are slow.

I'm wishing for a 24mm f2.0 HD lens lens like the stock lens.
And more firmwares to make lenses focus like the stock lens.

I'm guessing the GH2 will come 2011
 
I would have thought a lot earlier than that for the GH2. Nearly all mainstream camera lines have a yearly refresh these days, it makes a lot of money for the companies.

I was really hoping the next lenses to come would include an f2.8 zoom...something AT LEAST as fast as the Zuiko 4/3 50-200 f2.8. It sure would help when attempting to shoot weddings with this camera...or anything for that matter. :Drogar-Thinking(DBG At least the 100-300mm isn't any SLOWER than the kit lens...they better price that thing cheap.

I'm wishing for this too. But based on watching dpreview. I noticed new camera models come out at least 2 years earliest before evolving to a better model. Like the canon rebel.
Prosumer camcorders seem to come out new every year though.
Lets hope and see.

2010 will bring new micro camera models from different brands.
Which is great. It'll be somthing else.

But until then I'm hoping panasonic can fix focus hunting with their nice lenses.
Because I'm really enjoying this 20mm pancake lens in low light. I get great results like your low light sample in vimeo.
 
Developments are going so fast now regarding video and DSLR, I am totally sure the GH2 will be there in first half of 2010 and I am also sure Nikon will come with a video capable D3 in first half of 2010 as well. Why would they not?
 
It looks likely that the next m43 will be from Olympus, but it could well be another in the Pen line. A nice modular pro system based around m43 would be great though!

The 14mm 2.8 pancake looks interesting.
 
The intention of this next wave of lens updates for the Micro 4/3rds system seems to have been to offer a greater range of focal lengths. Both the 14mm pancake and the fisheye are very appealing! It's hard to see how they're going to engineer a lens wider than 20mm with an aperture larger than F1.7 though, and it would be equally difficult to do this with a OIS wide super zoom, so I reckon the next G series kit lens will be a little slow as well. Hopefully they'll compensate by offering better high ISO performance - not just slightly better, but properly better. I'll happily wait a little longer for a back-lit sensor in the GH2 and not just the usual steady evolution.
