Hey. How do you go about creating thet 'grunge' background that is so popular in today's horror movie titles? Or is there a place to download a few to work with? Thanks!

you can use brushes to create your own, or the easiest if you're not inclined to do that is just download them. istockphoto.com is a good place to start.

Grab a digital camera and head down to the grungy urban part of town and just start shooting. I live in Dallas, and the Fair Park area and south of Downtown have lots of rusty train bridges, old old walls, etc. Some of the coolest stuff I've gotten for textures has been driving home from a shoot and spotting the back of an old dump truck or a weathered steel door. You get the idea; there's tons of stuff out there, especially in the older parts of your town.
