I've noticed ther is a "groups" section in the User CP.
What's that used for?
I'm guessing it's designed for group mailing lists or something similar? or is it a rank thing? (maybe there's a 'group' for the mods)
And who controls these groups? I couldn't find a place to create one, only to join the one group: "imported users" I see in the list..
I think there are some instaces where the groups could be handy. For example set up a group for large events. Eg: A group called "NAB anttendees" for those who will attend NAB.
I can only begin to imagine what groups can do, maybe they can also trigger private forum areas to become visible..
Maybe you have to be invited into a group..
- Mikko ...wondering if he just hasn't been invited...
