Grouping tracks in timeline?

I am editing using multi track audio from a PD6 and video from the DVX so they are separate sources. So what I have been doing is making my edits with the DVX audio and then replacing it with the PD6 multitrack. Thats fine but when I have to make a change in the edit and something gets shifted all the audio goes out of synch and I have to go back in and resynch. Is there a way to lock each video edit to each audio edit and group them?

In Premiere you just select the tracks in the timeline you want locked together and right click to lock. What does avid do thats like this? I read on subclip and subsequences but from the manual and the book i have its not the same as locking the audio and video. The lock track tool just locks everything but then you cant touch anything.

There is no way to arbitrarily sync elements in the timeline at this time. Sync and sync indicators are done on the sources via AutoSync. Once clips are synced, then you could edit with DVX tracks, matchframe back to source and access the synced BWF files.

Thanks Michael. Is there something that can group whatever is selected in the timeline coming down the pipe? It would be sweet to be able to select whatever tracks you want and right click and select something like group tracks. This way if anything is moved it will stay together.
