Wire transfer is no big deal as long as you know who you are dealing with. I'm sure the reason is the 3% it will cost them to accept a card- helps them keep the price as low as possible. My AF came from TMS, a demo for the same price, so factory fresh is as good as it gets.

Yes. Credit card companies charge the vendor about a 3% fee. On a $4000 purchase that adds up to about $120.

And for those talking about NAB drop - I hope youre right that theres something new coming at NAB from Panasonic, but would hope/bank on its in the F3 / C300 game. Ive got a C300, Im not about to sell - however, each of these companies usually have different strengths across their ranges. Panasonic will have one, another tool on the rental list if we need it. These cameras are ridiculously good these day. F3 / C300 / Scarlet - at these price points for the DR achievable...

TMS is rock solid! Don't be scared by the "wire transfer"...I bought my GH2 from Terry and the service was excellent.

I agree .. we've worked a lot with (our rep) Leroy Rodriguez at TMS .. and he (and TMS) are totally legit. Leroy is great .. can't say enough
good things about the dude.

if you need warranty work done on a camera bought in the US you have to send it to either LA or New York. The turn around time is usually a few days.

Yes, they're pretty quick at turning around repairs in LA .. unless it's really jacked, two days is the norm.
