Can't remember what the final price was. All i can find listed is "under $5000". If I remember correctly there were 130ish interested. Not sure how many ordered from that 130.

Didn't it come out brand new for $2999? Looks like the DJI Ronin group buy pricing was under $2500.

Curious to hear what the final deal on the AS7 will be as it doesn't appear to have any special features that separate it from the DJI.

Travis,

i do know that the AS7 is a pound lighter. Also the Ronin has a proprietary battery. The AS7 has one also that fits in the top cross bar, but you can use other 4S batteries if you wanted to.
 
Yeah and it looks like the AS7 is a bit easier to use since it is both lighter and can also be held a little closer to the body as well than the Ronin

Travis,

I just confirmed $2495 is the final price no matter how many orders. If we can get a good number of orders, they may be able to help us out on battery price if extra batts are ordered.
 
Great. Thanks for doing the legwork. Any idea on how much interest? I'm guessing a lot of interested parties pulled the trigger on the Ronin already.
 
That sure looks like a good deal. If I had a black magic, Red or other box type camera already, I think I'd have to order the AS7.
 
Hi all. This looks like a very attractive deal. I wasn't even considering a 3-axis gimbal before coming across this.

Does anybody know if the rig can be inverted to make it a bit easier to get eye-level shots? Examples? Thanks!

Yes it can go inverted like the others. Examples I don't have. Let me see if they have any videos of it.
