I've recently encountered a problem recording to one of my 8Gig P2 Cards. After loading the card with images at 720/24pn, upon ingesting to our laptop, the thumbnails showed up as gray, or blank....with no timecode....and a red X. We put the card back in the camera and tried to repair the clips, but got a "cannot repair" warning. So a) can the footage be retrieved some how in post? b) is it safe to use this card in the future? c) why did this happen? I've been using this card for 4 months without a problem and don't know why it would do this. I've tried a test recording on the card since the problem and it appears to work. Should i trust this card in the future?
