Here are a couple of stills from a small short I shot two weeks ago in 4 1/2 torridly hot and humid hours. I am putting the last touches in the final edit.
Since I am near completion, I would like to know if anyone knows of good settings to create a decent Web friendly sequence. This has been edited with Avid Express Pro 4.3.5 at 24P.
I would recommend either Cleaner XL or Sorenson Squeeze to get a decent Web file....exporting directly from Avid for the Web is hairy to say the least.
[shadow=red,left,300]Thanks Disjecta.[/shadow] Well, I finally figured out how to Create a dvd for this 13 minute project. God Bless Sorenson and Sonic ReeldDVD!. It was not easy figuring out the actual process because whatever manual I searched was not as logical as I had wished. OK, Now that I am almost ready to "put up" this small film I am realizing tht I only have 25 Megs of webspace available so getting a decent enough compression will be key or more webspace. I'll have to do more research before I do this but if anyone knows please don't be shy and holler a suggestion, I'd appreciate it immensely.
About this short film, the actor whom you see in the two stills actually wrote the character[glow=red,2,300]"Greg"[/glow] as one of many characters in a one-man theatre play. It is a tragic character and that shall be all I mention for now. After the short is uploaded for exposure I will elaborate.
