Hey!

Fun fact - my user name "Kasutajanimi" translates as "User name" in Estonian.

Anyway, I'm from Tallinn and I have been into photography for a few years.
In March I bought my first drone, a Phantom 2 and a GoPro 4 Silver. Tried to shoot aerial videos like some of my friends were doing.

The first attempts didn't work out that well. So that got me thinking and analyzing, why. The composition and framing were alright. The light conditions also. But all aerial videos had very little context beyond a seldom seen camera angle. No real story there.

And that is how I started thinking about and became interested in making short videos.

Last week I finished my first video. A marketing video for a small sheet metal business. Did my best with one GoPro and they were really happy too. It was a great learning experience.

What next? I just bought a Zoom H2n digital recorder and I'm thinking what to shoot next.

Signed up here because there is so much useful information here and people seem really friendly and helpful.
I'm glad to be a part of all this and I will do my best to help others too.

I remember buying chewing gum in Tallinn back in 1977. Orange flavor. In those days, you'd chew it, set it down on the counter for a little jaw rest, then put it back in your mouth again. But, if you got caught chewing gum in the class room, you'd risk being sent to the principal's office. Those were the days.
