Green Screen - Textured Wall Paint or Cloth?

Hi there,

I am getting ready to set up a room for reviewing, vlogging, and other types of work. The room is 10' x 10' and has a small ventilation popping down in one corner of the room. There is a window and a closet. I was thinking about painting the room with this:

This is a Monochrome Paint for Green Screen. However, due to the walls being textured (Egg Shell), it's going to be really difficult to shoot properly due to the overwhelming shadows each texture bounces on to the next. Plus, the textures that aren't shadowed, they become too shiny.

So, then I thought, maybe I will just buy cloth, some sort of Muslin, but, I would run into this problem:

I only need one wall to be covered, to be used for green-screening.

I have never green screened before and am looking for help in what to choose and why. I am watching some tutorials on how to use green screen with Vegas, Premiere, and After Effects.

you need to use a proper bar support system. if you can mount to the wall, i recommend that over light stands:

and those don't look like wrinkles you're referring to, but just sagging cloth, so if adding the proper top bar doesn't get rid of those entirely, which it probably wont, you need to weight the bottom of the screen, and possibly even use clamps to stretch the sides of the screen.

Thanks everyone who posted. I wanted to wait a day before commenting back. Both of you made good suggestions. My wife and I have been debating back and forth, and we may incorporate both methods that you both mentioned. We were thinking of taking some Pink insulated foam from Home Depot, painting that with the same exact paint, but for a fraction of the price. They will match the exact paint we need, color, grade, and paint itself. The paint itself is called this: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Speedwal...r-Paint-1251-0110-01/202188720#specifications.

We were also thinking about doing this, in conjunction with painting a piece of Tongue and Groove http://www.homedepot.com/p/Owens-Co...ongue-Groove-Foam-68WD/100320355#.UeOFU42siSo, and use the paint for the main board, and use seamless paper to fill around any edging.
 
From my experience pulling tons and tons of keys:

Why reinvent the wheel? Just make a cyc (cyclorama). Usually a sheet of linoleum flooring (you use the back side, not the textured), with some curved plywood supports for the curved sides. Prime it, then you just repaint it for specific shoots (white, green, whatever).

Seamless paper works but isn't nearly as saturated as fabric or paint. It can be frustrating in post.

Cheap muslin screens from eBay have been 100% awesome for me, and I don't mind cutting strips off to wrap things in for effects.

Don't blow your cash on chroma paint - take a good, saturated screen to the paint store and have them match it. Worked great for me.

And wrinkly fabric screens - they need to be stretched tight (which makes the curved wall-to-floor transition a problem). Get a commercial steamer to kill the wrinkles, you can find 'em for under $150 (Amazon?) and they're just handy as hell around the house.

But a cyc is the most awesomest green screen, if you have space to construct one. Nothing else comes close for speed of setup. Since it's always up, wrinkle-free and perfect.
