Green Screen Test (3rd Video)

Looks cool. I'm not buying the lens flare much though, especially when he moves under it. Why don't you post a clip where it's more evident what the point of it is? As it stands it looks like you might be able to do some kind of neat-lookin' sci-fi. Do you have any ideas story-wise?

Yes, indeed the lens flare looks rather terrible. I was trying to see how much stuff I could do to the clip to experiment. We do have an idea for our film, but it still needs a lot of work. Basically we're trying to figure out the look we want for it, then we plan on writing the script. I am a fan of Sin City, which is why I like that desaturated/highlighted look, but I think we're planning on doing some extensive CC'ing in either AE or Vegas and giving it more of a vibrant/highlighted feeling. I'm just trying to get the basics of pulling a key and making the CC'ing look convincing, so thanks for ur feeback.
 
I was having trouble with Youtube last night and my video was not being verified for like four hours, so I finally gave in and made the first thread, than when the third video was verified, I made a second thread.
 
There are various FX in Vegas under News Print. Basically, I just used the Newspaper effect and changed the dot size to something more conforming to the look I was shooting for. Thanks for inquiring!
