Hi there,
I know to some of you this probably is not the best key you have seen, but I'm gonna share anyway, cause this is the first music video I'm doing and I'm excited about it so far.
So I shot using 720p DVCProHD, 1/120 shutter, 37fps), and it was remarkably easier to key than I thought, but I wouldn't say plain sailing. the director was very suprised of the outcome, cause they're used to seeing HDV footage key'd that is a lot harder than DVCProHD to key.
It's a low budget music video, we have about $2000 for everything.
The green screen footage is for cut away shots, next week we will hopefully shoot the main body of the video if we get the 2 locations locked.
The greens screen grab (RAW OUT OF CAMERA, no prep yet, just moved the comp a bit in AE hence the white border):
and the SLAP comp (just to check the key). I used Keylight to pull a key.
what do you guys think? descent key or waisted effort, he he?
thanks,
Derrick
