So, this radio station here in LA has a contest going where they want people to make 15 second commercials promoting thier station. So I wrote one and shot it in a day and here it is.

I used my wife as the actress and had to shoot all of her parts green screen because she was complaining that it was to cold to do it at our location (it was 40 degrees outside). The back ground plates I shot were at Vasquez rocks park in CA. You might recognize it because it has been used as the setting for many movies and TV shows.
The green screen that I used was green chroma colored paper that I purchased from Samy's camera in Pasadena. It worked great and A.E. keylight pulled it cleanly.
Hope you think it is funny and give me some feedback.
Thanks

Yeah, she was really complaining when I told her that I needed to make her hair matted. I used a ton of hair gel and she was pissed off when she had to was it out. :)

hie hie hie, Liked that, nicely done.

Did you create the opening sequence in AE, or a 3D app, or is it stock?

The opening sequence was created in AE. I did a color replace on the blue of the sky, color gradient, vigenetting and then composited in two 3D creatures that I had animated in 3d studio max. Oh, and the shadow for the teradactal was done in After Effects with the dropshadow effect.

Hey man nice compositing. Like to see a higher-res version, though. Youtube destroys footage. But it looks pretty clean.

Hey thanks guys. I wanted to put a high res. version up, but I dont know of any host sites to put it on. Any suggestions?
