a buddy of mine has that^

I want to film him downtown doing some dances and stuff to practice some keying with the dvx100b and final cut pro for post.

Any recommendations on scene file settings? It's rather sunny out. Hopefully something gets posted soon. It's last minute.

Thanks.

Are you going to be green screening him out or are you going for something like this:

?

Wow. That just seems obscenely difficult. Is this a personal challenge or ... or what are you trying to accomplish by green-screening him out?

What are you planning on using as the image to be green screened in?

Were you going for something kind of like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tmyprod/3721401867/ ?

Its a personal challenge I suppose. Mostly I just want to practice shooting in different conditions and what not with the 100b. I just bought it and need to learn as much as possible...well want to learn.

Anyway, like I said, my friend bought this suit and the first thing I thought was, " That looks like a green screen to me." The video itself has no real purpose, other then to entertain and look cool.

I had him run around downtown and do different things, poses and the sort. I was really just practicing and need someone to shoot. I will probably throw some psychedelic stock footage or my own footage under it for fun. Maybe shoot some kites in the park or a bunch of balloons to put under him.

I am running in to some trouble with inconsistent lighting already (which i expected) but am relatively happy with the outcome.

Any pointers on how to deal with that? From what I have read and watched, if you don't get proper lighting while shooting it's basically not salvageable.

Actually i am having so pretty good luck with it.

I'll be sure to post a link when i am done.

almost done...i've been rather lazy...or busy with other stuff which leaves no motivation left for editing. Any way should be done soon.

If you're looking to clean up the key, do some research into rotoscoping....which is just a fancy word for frame by frame manual keying....with a little patience into how the techniques work, you can effectively clean up the key pretty well...certainly if previous frames had a good key and everything is looking about the same in the following frames.

which program is most suited for that? I attempted some in color, which was fine and all but for this project i didn't care to spend that much time with it, it's just a side project.
